Janella Alpacas is situated in the Central West region of NSW, in the beautiful town of Bathurst. We are a small and picturesque stud on 40 acres of native pasture and tall trees which is an ideal place to farm our alpacas as they thrive in the cool climate.
We started out in 2007 with one female and one wether and a steep learning curve before us. We now have a small herd of mainly white and fawn animals (carrying Highlander, El Dorado, and Yavari). We have recently purchased two brown girls (Highlander and El Dorado lines) to introduce colour into our breeding program.
We participate in the Q Alpaca program (MN1).
Our aim is to breed huacaya with correct conformation, excellent temperaments and fibre that is fine, dense and lustrous.
